Slow down or perish, the economics of degrowth.

Timothée Parrique is a researcher in ecological economics at Lund University in Sweden. A specialist in degrowth, he is the author of Ralentir ou périr, l'économie de la décroissance (2022), a book based on his doctoral thesis, The political economy of degrowth (2019).

Timothée Parrique chats with Ondine Berland, a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and the Paris School of Economics. After working for a year at Oxford University, she is a PhD student at INRAE and AgroParisTech. She is also the co-founder of the Women in Economics Paris-Saclay organisation, which studies gender discrimination in the discipline and networks women economists.
