Foreign students enrolled in a partner institution of Beaux-Arts de Paris can apply for an exchange at Beaux-Arts de Paris for one semester. Foreign exchange students are integrated into the normal curriculum and must follow a study program equivalent to 30 credits, including artistic practice in the studio, at least one technical course and courses in French as a foreign language.
The singularity of the teaching given at Beaux-Arts de Paris, centred around the notion of the workshop, obliges exchange students to choose a workshop for artistic practice. It is important that the students identify before their stay, through research and according to their objectives, the workshop they would like to join.
Moreover, as the courses are given in French, a good knowledge of this language is recommended.
In accordance with the agreements with the art school partners, foreign students are selected and proposed by their home school. The student's application file must include the application form filled in and signed by the school of origin, a letter of motivation specifying the artistic practice workshop that the student wishes to integrate and an artistic file.
The application form must be sent by the home school to the International Relations Department by May 1st at the latest for an exchange in the first and second semester.
