Born in 1974 in Sarreguemines, Frédérique Loutz lives and works in Paris. She manipulates, blurs and abruptly changes the forms. Dictated by her drawing, they are most often hybrid. The artist mixes techniques not to associate or confuse them, but so that the contrast distinguishes them.

She constantly tries to renew what she draws and succeeds without succeeding. The vocabulary that she uses, repeats and interprets again and again takes us into an often fantastic and phantasmagorical universe where nice monsters and familiar denatured characters cohabit.
