Born in Germany, Jurgen Gottschalk graduated in Art History, Italian Literature and German Philology at the Technische Universitat Dresden and Istituto Universitario Orientale in Naples.
Initially an artistic education teacher at the Institut fur Bildung und Beruf in Dresden, Jurgen Gottschalk has been a German teacher since 2007 in several language training centres and prestigious higher education institutions in Paris and Ile-de-France (Sciences Po Paris, École du Louvre, Centrale Supelec). During his career, Jurgen Gottschalk has also worked in various institutions as a scientific assistant and notably worked on the design of the exhibition The Triumph of Bacchus. Masterpiece of Ferrarese painting in Dresden 1480-1620 and its catalogue at the Dresden Museum of Fine Arts.
