Born in 1985 in Beirut, Nour Awada lives and works between Rome (IT) and Paris (FR). She graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2012. Her work has been presented at the Centre Pompidou, the Fondation François Schneider, the Fondation Francès, Mains d'Œuvres, the Palais de Tokyo, the Fondation Lafayette Anticipations, the Institut Français de Milan and the International Triennale of Istanbul, among others.
Nour Awada has been teaching modelling at the Beaux Arts de Paris since 2012. Her teaching approach is based on the central presence of the model, its observation and the subtle understanding of the logic of human morphology. Her classes are constantly nourished by a back and forth between current research and art history, both contemporary and past.
