Engraving

The Printmaking course will cover the different printmaking techniques so that each student can build up a graphic toolbox. This will be done in contact with major works that have marked the history of this medium.

Each participant will focus on a personalised publishing project which could be based on a theme or technique which has particularly caught the attention of the group. This course will also be an opportunity to discover the work of 20th century artists who embrace the technical processes of printmaking by making them actors in the work, thus revealing issues related to memory, time, the multiple and ubiquity.
