As part of the Troubles, Dissent and Aesthetics Chair coordinated by Fabrice Bourlez and Ilana Eloit, and in collaboration with professors Patricia Ribault and Clara Schulmann, a live meeting with philosopher Rosi Braidotti.

Rosi Braidotti is Distinguished University Professor at Utrecht University where she has been director of the Humanities Center since 2007. She founded the Women's Studies Program at Utrecht in the 1990s and was appointed Director of the National Institute for Women's Studies in 1995. After being honored with the Grand Knight's Cross in the Dutch Order of the Lion, she received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Helsinki, Finland, in 2007 and from the University of Linkoping, Sweden, in 2013.

Internationally recognized, Rosi Braidotti founded the intensive course project NOISE and also the Thematic Network of Feminist Studies ATHENA within the SOCRATES program of the European Union (1997-2005), for which she received in 2010 the Erasmus Award from the Commission. Since 2011, she has chaired the Scientific Council of the Institut des Humanités de Paris at the University of Paris-Diderot and since 2008 she has been on the Board of the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of Edinburgh.
