Six diplômés des Beaux-Arts de Paris intègrent la Collection Société Générale

Six graduates of the Beaux-Arts de Paris join the Société Générale Collection

For the second consecutive year, Société Générale, following a call for applications from young graduates of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, is adding six artists to its collection, graduating between 2019 and 2021. The works are presented in the exhibition spaces of the Société Générale towers in La Défense, and can be viewed until the summer of 2023 by making a reservation at visites@collectionsocietegenerale.com or via Visiter la collection | Collection Société Générale (collectionsocietegenerale.com)

The winners are :

Raphaëlle Bertran, 2020 graduate, oil on canvas, S.Wood (2022)

Barbana Bojadzi, 2021 graduate, mixed media on panel, Process and reality (2021)

Louis Jacquot, graduate 2020, acrylic and polyurethane on cotton, Eda (2020)

Daniel Nicolaevsky Maria, graduate 2019, acrylic on box spring, Flash (2022)

Juliette Green, graduate 2021, acrylic ink on paper, How does a recipe stand the test of time (2022)

Alzbeta Wolfova, 2021 graduate, photogram on glossy paper, Girandole (2022)

 

91 entries were received:

  • 46 in painting
  • 15 in drawing, graphic arts
  • 10 in photography
  • 20 in sculpture, installation


Two pre-selections of 26 then 9 candidates were made, before selection by a jury composed of Société Générale members and art professionals /Guy Boyer, Editorial Director of Connaissance des Arts, Olivier Fau, Director of Sotheby's private sales and Matthieu Poirier, Art historian and exhibition curator. The winning artists will each receive €5,000.

Société Générale is also a sponsor of "Penser le Présent", an annual programme of conferences by personalities from the world of art, culture and the humanities, accessible to the public live and recorded on the various dedicated networks.
