After a creative call to the artists of POUSH to create a work on the facade of the building that hosts them, Manifesto, operator of the venue, and Sogelym Dixence, its owner, chose the project of Cecilia Granara, a 2020 graduate.
Having the vocation to testify to the energy of POUSH as well as the involvement of its artists in the territory of Clichy, the work of Cecilia Granara will address a poetic and aerial signal testifying to the continued vitality of artists in this period of crisis. Thought from inside the building, the work will be visible on the south glass façade, on the side of the ring road.
With the work Transforming, Cecilia Granara will fashion butterfly shapes on the interior surface of each window on several unoccupied floors. An emblem of metamorphosis and ephemerality, the butterfly represents the activity and evolution of the artists, but also the creative energy of this temporary occupation in the heart of Greater Paris. The butterfly motif will be punctuated by eyes, revealing the work of the artists who, in their studios, transform the way we perceive the world. The work will be installed in May and visible until the end of the year.
